- All bookings are subject to a Heritage Charge per room per night. This is to be paid directly to the hotel.<br>A tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.<p>A damage deposit of MYR 50 is required upon arrival. That's about 9.06GBP. This deposit is fully refundable upon check out as long as there has been no damage to the property.</p><div data-et-view="ZOBYQLJCaGHZZAfQWZdKBQGMEZGZdMVXRT:2"></div><p>Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. “The location is brilliant. We arrived and found that our room, although nice, had a problem with damp and was on the ground floor. I went to see if they had another room to move us to and we were given an upgrade to a King size suite which was gorgeous. We weren't aware that the room was an upgrade therefore when we wanted to extend our stay (which we had been planning on doing) it cost us more and we didn't want to swap rooms. However, breakfast was included in the cost and we were so comfortable. Breakfast was simple but fine. The shower had amazing water pressure and was so lovely and warm. It felt really clean and the tea / coffee and water available in the room were a nice touch. The staff are very friendly and helped book a taxi from and app which was cheaper. Overall a wonderful stay for our time in Melakka.”
