“Very very helpful and friendly staff...awesome guys really...excellent food in particular the fresh fish of the day, the curries, and the lemongrass butter chicken...also the breakfast is solid and comes with an excellent passion fruit mango juice....the best location of any property on tallalla beach...they have shaded bungalows on the beach and padded lounge chairs with umbrellas to escape the glaring sun...:the beach itself may be the nicest in Sri Lanka for swimming...just enough surf to be fun and exciting but not remotely dangerous..pristine water....nice sunsets and sunrises and you can watch the local fishing practices in the early morning and late afternoon”

“Suji and all the other guys were the most welcoming and friendly people. The homemade curries and fresh fish were the best we had in Sri Lanka and we, a family of four, with 2 teenage daughters, celebrated my birthday there with the best lobster and crab meal - it was fab. Thy arranged a cake and bubbly, candles on the beach and then we all sat and listened to Suji playing guitar. One of the best birthdays. Lovely people and the best food on the beach. Thank you for a great time in Talallah.”

“You LIVE ON THE BEACH!!! From room to beach it´s one minute. Locality is awesome, very calm. Beautiful beach (one of TOP 5 beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka by Lonely planet guide). No people here. On beach are deck chairs with roof from palm leafes. Guys who works here are very friendly, with good english. Cook knows how to cook - very tasty (but on the end of day nothing cheap).”

“The location is really good, right on the beach and the breakfast is nice. Comes with fresh juice! Beds were comfy and a mozzy net provided. Good shower though no warm water (didn't really mind).”

“The location was brilliant as it was exactly adjacent to the beach and even came with an external shower where you could wash the sand off your body before re-entry into the aforementioned accomdation. In addition this external shower was releasing warm water which was a pleasant surprise. The staff where incredibly chilled out and made our stay wonderful and they had a real beach boys and spiritual vibe to them. The food was first class and really tasty and the light entertainment from one of the employers was a joy. Accommodating a late checkout was very welcomed and came at no extra cost as we checked out after 3pm which was really nice of them.”

“The location is just perfect, just a few steps from the beach but still private as it's not totally exposed.The staff is great, always making sure you have everything you need. Breakfast was big and yum and for dinner they usually had fish of the day. Despite this they are very friendly and treat you like family, really cool guys.The place itself is huge, with big garden, massage area and some huts and hammocks on the beach.This was the best place I stayed at during my time at Sri Lanka beaches.”

“It's an amazing location very close to the beach. We really enjoyed the view over the beach and ocean from the dining area. The staff was very friendly and nice. We had an lovely dinner on the beach where they'd put up some tables and candlelights. The manager also cooked most of the food, and did it well. We ate his special praw and aubergine curry, really tasty! They also have okay sun beds free of charge. We wanted to stay another night but couldn't since it was fully booked, but we got help to find another really nice place.”

“Great beach, few people around. Great ambience, very relaxing. Loved sitting at the roofed terrace restaurant looking at the ocean. The rooms are simple, but beds are comfy. People working there are fantastic, especially Sugit - manager and the chef. I am vegetarian and I was amazed and very grateful for the wonderful tasty meals that the guys cooked for me. We were there for almost 4 days and each of my meals was different! My husband loved the tuna and red snapper.”
