“This is an exceptional place, located right beside the wonderful Selimiye mosque. If you are interested in history, this is the place to stay. It is said that Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror was born in the same house in 1432 (however, not in the room where I stayed, but in the one on the opposite side). I also appreciated the good Turkish bath next door. Highly recommended, and not expensive at all.”
