“Amazing athomsphere, a hidden paradise with jungle around, traditional sri lankan house with a charm, a few minutes easy walk to the beach, shops restaurants are nearby. Special thanks to the hotel staff at reception, restaurant and houskeeping, as they are all so lovely people made our stay very comfortable. Really loved our stay!”

“We really loved our stay at Thambapanni. It's a great place for relaxation. Calm and quiet environment. The rooms are great, eco friendly with trees and made according to the nature and are big. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Food can be bought at a reasonable price and they are tasty. Just walking distance from unawatuna Bach and to the main road. A nice swimming pool and spa facilities in the hotel. ”
“The staff are very friendly and helpful, the pool is lovely (a tad cold and not good for sunbathers as it's mostly shaded by foliage). Lovely touches like the smell of cinnamon oil burning in room when we arrived, they come and tidy your room again in the evening. Ate breakfast a couple of time which was nice. Easy to walk to beach about 5/10 mins walk, felt safe the whole time (being two girls traveling sometimes you can feel uncomfortable). There is also a tuk tuk alway outside the hotel if you are feeling lazy. We stayed in the hotel three of us to start off with then went away and came back just two of us and the staff remembered us which was nice! Couldn't recommend this place enough.”
“We get totally mad. Whol nights no electricity... Can't sleep. We try contact any staff. They not intrst help. Finally I fined out manager no. Nothing happened us...without ac we stay room. Next day morning checkout. Beakfast toraly nothing. ..same food. Dinesh Dinesh”

“The resort was surrounded by tall trees which made lounging by/in the pool a real treat (if you are a shade lover). Of course, there is also plenty of sun available. The staff were pleasant and the location was quite convenient. Beer is available inside the room and even by the pool:)”
