“We used to stay at Ancasa hotel up at the main road for many years but decided to give a try at 5th Element this time since was just 1 night stay. We were extremely pleased with the convenience of the location. Although we missed all the little personal comfort in the room such as safe box, hair dryer, slipper, newspaper, but for the price we paid we should not be asking more. Bed was comfortable enough and we slept thru the night without any disturbances. Breakfast spread was OK (don't expect too much) but food was cold even on warmer. Counter staff service was satisfactory. The best thing that happened to us was there were 2 taxis waiting outside the door and they charged reasonably to TBS terminal (we accepted without the need to bargain). Previously, it was a headache getting a decent taxi driver outside Ancasa. When they see u from Ancasa, most of them charged you at cut throat prices and drove off when you try to bargain lower. Same like other traveller's reviews...this hotel has such poor wifi connection, it was simply impossible to get hold of it for a straight 5 mins! Anyway we will still consider staying at this hotel again if our next visit is just for one night!”

“A bargain room really - Right in China Town - very convenient. Breakfast was substantial. Other hotels in the area are less modern and just as pricey. Very easy to find as well. I did arrive early but the staff were happy to secure my main luggage and even put my valuable camera gear in a separate lockup away from general storage - I was impressed.”
