“We were in a twin room and one of the beds was quite lumpy and bumpy. The hotel is old and needs a little TLC but this is all forgotten as the owner/manager was really friendly and charming. The breakfast the next morning was lovely one had the full English and I had the smoked salmon and scrambled egg which was lovely. lovely.”

Rooms are quirky, mix of old and new - mine was huge and had a lovely four poster bed, bathroom was a little old fashioned but all worked well and it was a charming stay. Staff really welcoming and both the breakfast and my evening meal were delicious. Masses of parking too.”
