The flower gardens at The Bell are so beautiful and many vases in the hotel were filled with them such a lovely welcome as well when we checked in a vase of garden flowers on the reception desk. The food was delicious and everything in room was perfect. We cant wait to return here and have already recommended The Bell to our friends”

“The Bell is an absolute delight in every way. The rooms are to die for with every comfort imaginable. The evening meal was delicious and the wine list contained some very interesting choices. Breakfast was excellent with many of the food items from local suppliers. We especially liked the kumquat marmalade. The Bell is very professionally run and our host and hostess took fantastic care of us from helping settle us in our rooms to suggesting our wines. I wish we could have stayed an extra day. A simply gorgeous inn of the utmost quality.”

“Terrific location near castle ruins. Ideal for a pre or post dinner amble. The bar/restaurant is spacious and opens into a well kept garden. My wife loved the bath and separate shower room (with a rainfall shower head). The food is lovely with a very reasonable list of wines available by glass as well as bottle.”
