“A very old pub/hotel, recently refurbished and undergoing further extrension. So expect smallish but adequate sized rooms, tastefully decorated and very clean. comfy bed. Friendly and relaxed staff provide excellent service. Ditchling is a quiet village at night it does get surprisingly busy in the morning so best ask for room at the rear of the hotel if you are a late riser. Break choice is good and food excellent. WE had lunch there too which again was excellent. They even have a kitchen garden so a lot of the fresh fruit and vegetables served are home grown. They have a local brewery and a good beer selection.”
