“Meals and breakfast were good, all of the staff were extra friendly and helpful, when I asked at reception if Burnside had a railway station, and could I get to Glasgow Central the reply was immediate, yes, its 3 minutes walk from the hotel and the next train is 15.26. The train access to Glasgow was good, very frequent and ran from Glasgow almost up to midnight”

“I had to extend my stay one additional day. The Staff/dining room/bar/front desk/maintenance/hotel maids were EXCEPTIONAL! The area around The Burnside is lovely; chapel was within walking distance. Also walked to Rutherglen on a beautiful Fall day. So, the location was away from the main Glasgow area but it was well-worth it to feel the feel and talk with local Scots! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would do it again.”
