“In the breakfast room there was fruit, hard boiled eggs, muffins/bagels/pastry, a toaster for the bagels, creme cheese, yogurt, butter/jam, juice, coffee/tea, and bottled water. A very filling breakfast. We had light late lunches before dinners at around 7 pm. The breakfast room was nicely laid out and a news/weather station was on TV, but not too loud.”

“We were thrilled with this gem of a bed and breakfast. Gurney's was unable to accommodate us for any less than $1000/2 nights/ 2 adults. Although we were vendors at Gurney's, we traveled about 2 miles to our spacious room that had a King bed plus a huge pull out sofa for our grandson for $233/2 nights/2 adults/1 child. The desk clerk was very helpful informing us about restaurant week and offering to print out menus. They had a spacious parking area as well and was easily accessed from the main roads. It was thankfully quiet at night with minimal street lights, insuring a restful night. The room was large, clean, and had a microwave and refrigerator besides the usual amenities. We would definitely return.”

“The Carriage House Inn is a friendly hotel in Middletown, about a twenty minute walk away from the action in Newport. We had a beautiful, huge room for our 3 night stay and were given a warm welcome on our arrival. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very helpful. Good value for money and with Ubers readily available in town it makes financial sense to stay here rather than the much more expensive options in Newport. Highly recommended.”
