“Excellent dinner. Breakfast was one of the best ever. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Excellent coffee. Two poached duck eggs, chorizo and melted emental cheese over toast from bread made that morning. Owners and stall were lovely.”

“Very nice room with lots of teas, coffee (including ground), hot choc and fresh milk. There were complimentary toiletries and nice white towels. The shower was excellent, The room has plenty of storage if required, good long mirror and hair dryer. We found the bed to be very comfortable and the room warm. We both had a full breakfast, my partner went for the Case breakfast which was very big but he ate all of it and said it was very good. The staff were very friendly and attentive, topping up tea and coffee regularly. Beyond the restaurant there is the conservatory which houses a coffee and cake area which looked very inviting we were just going for a coffee. Overall very nice stay. We stayed as we were going to a wedding so did not get chance to explore surrounding area but close to Sudbury and Colchester.”
