“Very nice accommodation in Edinburgh's New Town. Very friendly host and wonderful breakfast!”

“Good value for money, especially since it was in a fairly central location with free parking. Pleasant owner, who went out of his way to explain the attractions and sights that were available to us. We also found the history of the property, as explained by the owner, quite interesting. The breakfast is plentiful, with a choice between continental and a full Scottish hot/cooked breakfast.”

“It was lovely. I booked it fairly late notice as I was leaving for the airport early next morning. The owner was incredibly welcoming and chatty which was a tonic after a couple of weeks of chaotic traveling. He also ensured I had a downstairs room when he saw the size of my luggage. He also organised an early morning taxi pick up. It was not too far from the centre of town.The facilities were very comfortable and I was able to have a great sleep. ”

“It's a quirky old fashioned hotel in a great location,just a short stroll up the interesting Broughton High St to the city centre. It is very clean and the gentleman owner very welcoming. The breakfast selection is huge and offers great value. It is not a Premier Inn or Travelodge and all the better for it in my opinion.”
