“Very friendly welcome from man on reception. A charming village pub with open fire and polite bar service. Ample parking in the pub's own car park. Inclusive breakfast was the best I've ever had, served pleasantly, super clean crockery and cutlery. A comprehensive menu which included the very tasty 'Full English' a perfect overnight en route to Dover. Will definitely use again. Just a personal observation was the bedside lamps. Could they be increased from 18 watt ? I had to take the lampshade off to read in bed but I did sleep well afterwards :-)”
