“We love this part of Rome north of the Villa Borghese gardens. It is quiet yet plenty of local attractions and restaurants. While it is not in the city centre it is still walkable (we frequently walk home at the end of the day from, say, the Colosseum) but you can catch the old train close by to the Metro easily, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the Centre. Great breakfasts, nice clean rooms, professional staff. We have stayed there 5 times in the past 3 years and would return in a flash.”

“Having transferred from a cruise, we arrived several hours early and were going to leave our bags and go off locally to pass time but we're told our room was ready which was much appreciated. The hotel provides in room a "handy" phone offering free international calls to many regions as well as data. Also as the hotel location is mainly residential, a free shuttle is run to and from the city which takes about 10 minutes. Extremely useful and we were most impressed. Staying right in city would be too hectic for us.”
