“Seems this hotel keeps five stars just because it's the oldest one in this area. The check in process gave me a very bad feeling because of the correspondence at the counter. I thought this hotel should teach its staffs from basic manners. I stayed 8th floor at South Tower (where I was told the highest floor) It was surprising that every refreshments are automatically charged even when just move (without consumption). There is no complement water bottle, slipper and others that other five stars usually offer. The only good point is the location, I could walk to my favorite Original Joe's restaurant where also be from more than 30 years, same as this hotel. Unlike the current Fairmont, Originnal Joe's was still fantastic and I can recommend to everyone.”

“The rooms were suprisingly soundproof with no traffic noise. Everything was clean and well kept. The service was great from checkin until checkout. I even found someone to fill my ice bucket after wandering the hall for a bit. My fault I couldn't find the ice. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and ammenities very accomodating.”

“Hotel was in a great location, easy walking to restaurants and nightlife. Pool area was a decedent size. We booked this hotel to escape the heat and relax at the pool. Pool service was great and timely. I didn't even think it was that expensive considering the location.”
