“Lovely little hotel in the centre of Galle Fort. Friendly staff and big room. You can walk everywhere in the Fort from here and the beaches are a 15 minute tuk tuk ride away. The restaurant was the best dinner we had during our whole trip in Sri Lanka and in a lovely setting in the lit up courtyard by the pool. Breakfast was also great.”

“It is not 5'star. No phone to reception so when the shower didn't work....no toiletries per normal. Bleak room with no window. Pool needed cleaning. No television. Free soft drinks had no openers or glasses. We couldn't be fitted in for dinner as we hadn't booked ahead! After remonstrations we had a table for four set up. Apart from the snobby European manager the staff were terrific. The food (when we finally got it) was very good. One couplevwe meet were given a free lunch because their room was below par. Great restoration but much more is needed.”
