“Get away from the city lights out here! Extremely quiet at night. Lovely neighborhood pub (on the edge of Woolton Hill town) and small inn with 9 rooms, but a large restaurant (it serves/seats perhaps up to 60 people?). Salmon was excellent; chicken tikka massala was okay (a little dry); desserts were great; service was very good. Friendly and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. Excellent place to stay if you're going to Highclere Castle. Very large room, lots of storage, comfy queen-sized bed. Large bathroom too.”
