“This was our first time in New York City and the GEM hotel location was excellent to walk from anywhere we wanted to. Never had to use public or private transport to visit the city. The staff was brilliant during our stay (8 days over Christmas and New Year) and we were well looked after and felt very welcome. Thanks again. And will come back whenever I have the opportunity!!”
“The location is great. The hotel has a nice feel and cosy atmosphere. We would stay there again. Also, they make the best coffee at the bar and that is important to us! Although the room is small, you can find most things (like ironing board, hair dryer, etc) in it as it's designed smartly.”

“everything was perfect! the location is great - just a 2 minutes walk from the subway. right outside the hotel there is a small deli that's open 24/7 and sells snacks, beer, sandwiches etc. the area around the hotel is very nice to walk in and offers bars, restaurants, CVS and many more. as to the hotel itself: the staff was super nice and helpful, the room was very quiet, cozy and clean and it had a coffee macine in it too. thank you :)”
