“Lovely people in an oasis of calm in the middle of Jaipur”
“Staff at the General's Retreat were lovely - so welcoming and helpful but not at all intrusive. My wife was ill during our stay and they could not do enough, The place lives up to its name and felt like a welcome retreat from the chaos that is Indian roads and cities. We ate meals in on 3 nights and they were excellent. Almost had to force ourselves to go out to try other places. Would definitely recommend this place to others.”

“Location was good. Close to the train station and everything Jaipur has to offer within reasonable travelling distance. Nice to be out of the intense busyness of the city centre. The accommodation has a nice family home feel to it and the garden with peacocks and family dogs is nice. The rooms are large as are the bathrooms. Room is basic but very comfortable and large beds. Breakfast was good as was the one evening meal we had at the accommodation. The staff and the owners who we dealt with are all very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for basic, comfortable, clean budget accommodation you won't go wrong staying with the family at The Generals Retreat.”

“お部屋が広くて清潔で、２階だったので、借景ですが隣にある幼稚園のお庭にいた野生のクジャクを見ることができてよかったです。幹線道路沿いに立っているのに、ホテルのお庭が広く、森のように樹木がたくさんあり自然いっぱいで、静かでよかったです。オーナーさんが優しくて近くのアノーキー・カフェまで歩いて行けるのですがその場所を丁寧に教えてくださったり、チェックアウト後に次のホテルまでの移動にも、親切なオートリキシャーを呼び込み、最後まで送り届けてもらえる手配をしてくださいました。ジャイプールに行く機会があれば、またこのホテルを予約したいと思います。”
