“What made me decide to book is the concept of the hotel. It is like a hidden suburbs within the city of Manila. We get an upgrade of room upon our check-in which is great. The Suite is a huge room and can accomodate a family of 5pax. Everything is good; from the aircon unit, bed, sheets, linens, shower, tv, etc.”
“The ambiance, the quiteness of the place is superb”
“From reservations to reception to check out to room service and Apartment 1B staff named Cass and Vince the reception guy so wonderful attitude given to me and mama”
“Very relaxing experience. Super staff, very clean, cosy atmosphere.”
“A private compound surrounded by trees. It has a lovely outdoor pool too! The rooms are big enough and has a very comfortable and clean bed and soft pillows. The bathroom is very clean and has all the basic stuff although they dont have a rain shower like other small hotels outside the Philippines. The rooms are in an old renovated house. It has a vintage and artsy but homy ambience. I love the hallway, it has a minimalistic retro decor and complements the original red and yellow tiles of the floor. The breakfast was also great! One can choose from various sets of Filipino or Intercontinental breakfast. I love the basket of pandesal! The dining area outside is charming too! And then you have the wonderful and efficient staff. Checking in and out is a breeze. Vince was very helpful with my luggages. All of them were sweet and nice!❤ ”
“Perfect location. Quiet and secluded. Good size rooms. Friendly staff.”
“I liked everything: location, environment, breakfast, excellent service.”
“The hotel is great, a lot of small amazing details! The staff is very warm & welcoming! Transport from the airport to the hotel was impeccable!”
“An escape haven in the middle of the Manila Bustle. Good facilities with attentive staff. Comfort food in the restaurant was enjoyable.”
“The "The Henry" is a good hotel with a beautiful garden, pool and even bigger parking area. The entrance to the premises is secured by a gate with guards. The accommodation itself is spread over 5 renewed two story building with clean, art déco and spacious rooms. In the central building you can locate the front desk, restaurant, bar and the terrace. The garden is missing a bit of design but is offering plenty space to relax. It is getting a bit mystic in the night when it is lit up quite nicely. The stuff is quite friendly and caring. The dishes taste and look good, the bar offers long drinks. The interesting sights, SMX expo center, museum, markets, churches and temples are all in 15 minutes walking distance. For me the highlight were the small streets of the close by Barangay distric, the wet-market to source your food and get it directly cooked and, of course the friendly hospitable and open minded people.”
