“This was our fist time at The Heron Portico... it won't be our last. From check-in, we were made to feel very welcome, by just about all the staff we had dealt with. Name-dropping here, but 'stand-outs' include Alex on Reception, Fred and Festus in the restaurant. Our most pleasant F&B experience was in the outside coffee shop... a lovely shaded area, pleasant temperature, gentle breeze, and surprisingly free from Nairobi's typical traffic 'hum'! Our room was impressive for the price paid, comfortable, clean, and nicely designed to be more than just a 'box'.”
