“Warm cozy atmosphere and very welcoming staff and the decor was tasteful and appropriate for the location.”
“The hotel is a beautiful old lodge, historical and grand. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and separate shower. The bedroom was sufficiently large. The decor was lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a pub and library on the first floor, and the staff were happy to let us spend the entire evening in the library. The hotel couldn't be any closer to the bonny banks of Loch Lomond, and it was a very short walk to the pier to see Ben Lomond over the Loch. Breakfast with the room is continental, good choices, but you can add on the hot breakfast, which was superb, with choices like eggs benedict or smoked salmon and eggs.”
