“The property is impressive though vintage in the "nicest" sense of the word (not renovated since the 90's). The "bellboy', "waiter" and "go-to" Tuan was fantastic! I am at your service at all times ( until I go home), I will carry your bags to your room (one is very very heavy). The bed is extra comfy, and the food ( and service, again Tuan) in the restaurant is really good. The setting is authentic, very beautiful and tired in the true English aristocratic house sense, but very clean. Our room was large, with a 90's spa bathroom and a bay window view. I would go back as comparable accommodation is ridiculously priced. Gorgeous views. Love this place, Blue Mountains' Faulty Towers.”

“The old world charm of the lounge, bar and the view from the Restaurant were great. Rooms were spacious and the gas fire was an atmospheric touch. A very interesting collection of historic photos in the hallways. The background history of the property available in the guest folder was appreciated. Most of the staff were very friendly, several readily volunteered to help out with the group photos.”
