“This was a delightful stay. The staff were very welcoming, offering coffee or a drink while our room was prepared (we were early). When shown to our room it was very tastefully refurbished, with the bonus of a shared kitchen (stacked for included breakfast) lounge area. This became a welcome change from our rooms and was a good spot to unwind and read the papers. The décor throughout the building is beautiful, including the hotel downstairs. Percy's Brasserie offered good food at a reasonable price in the evenings. Opposite is a large park for early morning walks, and the bus stop to get into the city (15 minutes) or to the northern beaches. Apart from the décor and the facilities the staff set this place apart. Every effort was made to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Although further from the city than other places we stayed we will come back, and would certainly recommend it.”
