“Beautifully decorated room echoing the nearby sea. (Bell rock). Soft blues, creams and greys. Wonderful views out of both windows. Extremely comfy bed. The bathroom was well decorated with fluffy towels and a warm towel rail. Big, powerful shower cabinet. This was one of the nicest B&B rooms I’ve stayed in. I loved it. Seriously, didn’t want to leave! Super breakfast, cooked to order with the nicest coffee -ever. Great, friendly staff. Can’t wait to have the excuse to go back. Thanks. X”
“The room was very big with a comfy double bed and a sofa and coffee table. Plenty of room to store clothing and tea and coffee supplied. The shower was amazing, with clean towels every day. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.”
“The staff were terrific and helpful all the time. We had the best breakfast and or meal in Scotland here. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel meals area was what I expected in terms of warmth from the cold (there was a coal fire going in the bar area), generally quick friendly service and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The meals were excellent value which is saying something in Scotland. You can walk a few metres and you're on the water. Not too far to walk to the shops or tourist attractions. Good location.”
“The staff was fabulous! Outstanding food. Great view of the ocean and town from our room. We arrived early and they checked us right in to allow us to go explore. Paula, our breakfast server, was very friendly and gave outstanding service.”
“Beautiful, spacious, immaculate room. Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing.”
“Excellent stay. Comfy room and very clean. Bed was soft and the room was warm. The food was fabulous”
“bed really comfy - room and en-suite really spacious - large fluffy towels”
“Very pleasant staff. Pleasant, quaint and quirky building.”
“Amazing location, excellent views, plenty to do and fabulous food for breakfast and dinner.”
“Very friendly staff, great food in the restaurant, nice room. The room was very light due to thin curtains and an emergency light in the room but apart from that no problems. Be warned, if you try the William Wallace in the restaurant, you won't want to move much the next day.”
