“Very friendly and helpful staff. They changed my room as I had mistakenly booked a double bed instead of separates. It was a nice surprise to be given one of their newly refurbished rooms. For a tourist the opal was chosen for its location which was brilliant. Very comfortable beds, easily regulated air con, clean, a really nice roomy shower (no bath - suits me!) and the feeling of security. Try Mels Drive-in (next door), Brenda's Soul Food on Polk for breakfasts and Tommys Joynt (across the road) for a good vibe.”
“I liked the keycard entry for everything. Made it seem a little safer. The Lobby is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Like hands down the nicest hotel staff I've ever met. It was also really nice to have parking on site so we didn't have to walk to a parking garage down the street in the dark to go to dinner.”
