“The location is ok, not so close to Kyoto station 10-15 min drive but very close to the Imperial Palace. We caught a cab from the station and from memory we paid around 1500 yen. The nearest subway station is 6 min walk (Marutamachi) 4 stops to Kyoto Station. It is cheaper to go by train but hard when you have a pram as elevator access is not easy. Nearest convenience store and restaurant is about 8 mins walk. Breakfast was good. The room size was decent. I can open the windows to let the fresh air in.”

“The hotel was spacious, had useful facilities such as a laundry room, vending machine with beer, library, and a kitchen so you can cook your own food if you wanted to! The staff were very friendly and very helpful! Breakfast cost extra but was worth it for a couple of the nights as there is a large selection from the buffet.”
