“The setting is magical and the food wonderful. The bedroom was restful with a lovely comfortable bed and a smart bathroom. The view from the restaurant must be one of the best in the whole of Scotland. Really enjoyed watching the fishermen and the ferry whilst tucking into a fabulous breakfast. The walk along the path behind the hotel was just the ticket to keep our dog occupied, with great views across to Lismore. Also liked the residents only access to the bedrooms and the homely feeling of being able to kick off our walking boots and leave downstairs on the rack.”

“Food was very good. The service at breakfast and lunch was excellent but the service in the evening was a little disappointing in the main restaurant. The first and main courses were excellent altho I was not offered wine. We were not offered dessert so after 30 minutes we went to the desk, asked for the bill, paid and left.”

“When I arrived extra late at night (blown tire, and then a road closed for the entire night because they were re-surfacing it!!!) the staff were there and super welcoming and kind. I did feel awful about keeping them up!!!”
