“We had a wonderful stay between Christmas and New Year 2015. Arrived early and they accommodated us immediately and when we asked to change rooms so that we had a bath they moved our bags for us. Very comfortable bed.”

Rooms are fantastic, as I travel for work a lot I am used to getting stock in lifeless and soul destroying square boxes with - this is so far from that it is untrue. A fantastic escape in london, great value, excellent staff. Can't comment on the food as we ate out. Location is excellent and if you are driving there is parking 3 mins walk away at Smithfield market.”

“I absolutely adore The Rookery. I particularly love the wonderful antique furniture and beautiful paintings. It is a cosy, peaceful, quiet and refined hotel and I feel completely safe and at home here. The bed linen is gorgeous. The pillows are exactly as I like them-big,fluffy and feathery fillings which one's head sinks into. Many,many hotels these days have such awful pillows with terrible artificial fillings that are dreadfully uncomfortable and give one a headache! Surely the most important feature in a hotel bedroom is the degree of comfort from the bed itself! It is also extremely close to Carrington train station which is so useful. I would always try to stay at The Rookery (this is my second visit) when I need to stay in London.”

From the welcome to the wonderful accommodation, sumptuous furnishings, breakfast in the room was brilliant. mini bar and #'honesty' bar in the lounge was high quality and very reasonable (not often you say that about mini bars!). Always helpful and pleased to see us. if you want to enjoy a really special break in London, here's the place for you.”
