“The sea behind the hotel was nice for a walk.the hotel room was ment to be a sea view. but was a view of a roof not impressed.the shower leaked at the shower door with meant I was standing in a pool of water as I got out the shower.. then to breakfast in the dinner had to plug in the toaster to make my toast ..”
“Staff were very friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. the view in the morning was amazing and the breakfast was lovely. i sat on my own in the dining room and felt relaxed and comfortable. I have loved seeing the improvements since my last visit, especially the decor in the public areas. I look forward to going back again in the future.”

“Centrally located hotel a stroll to the harbour with a few very good restaurants We intended eating at the harbour but it was very busy so decided to return to hotel We were pleasantly surprised meal was very good and plentiful Cullen skink was delicious”

“An older property. No parking on site. You have to find street parking and walk your bags to the hotel. Clean but basic. Pub great. Room small and funky. We had an ocean view room. But set up bad. Nice to have coffee but we had to plug the hot water pot in on the floor by the bathroom. A desk was there but no power outlet. Cramped. Nice view, bathroom good. Staff friendly and helpful. But not a lot of staff around. Nice full breakfast included and food good.”
