“The room we had was looking over a agricultural steel shed which wasn't a great view, the other 2 rooms had amazing views though (as we had a peak). When we first walked in to the bar we thought what the heck as it was a little bit like Jamaica inn on Bodmin moors (a little spooky) but when we were shown to the room we breathed a sigh of relief m. The room was very clean and comfortable. The decor was lovely. They had a 70s disco on the night we stayed but it was a shame there was only 4 people there! We still had fun though even though.”
“Clean spacious room and bathroom with a walk in shower. Small fridge in the room with fresh milk and orange juice, great coffee supplied and really enjoyed our breakfast hamper. The staff were very courteous and friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was excellent I would recommend the mussels. I was totally in the hands of my sat nav on the way and did drive down several miles of farm track but on my way back set it for no single lane roads and it was a doddle”
“We found the quirkiness of the rooms really nice. The bed was amazingly comfy with great pillows, and the bathroom was very spacious and luxurious. The breakfast hamper was a really nice touch, with the fresh fruit being of a very high standard. The staff in the pub were really nice and welcoming, and spoilt us with an ice bucket and bottle of Prosecco when we announced we had got engaged whilst staying there that day.”
