Its very convenient that the hotel has a restaurant downstairs, its excellent and cool. Love the details in the decoration of the hotel, its very creative and inspiring. Great selection of magazines in the room. The room has a huge bathtub, perfect to soak in after walking all day. Location is perfect. The bar at the top of the hotel is one of the prettiest in the city, amazing view and design. Staff is very nice and helpful. I wouldn't go to this hotel as a couple because the room has little privacy. The bathroom is separate from the shower and tub area. And this area is open, so you don't have privacy. I was there by myself and its great, but not for two or more people.”

“The view was incredible, breathtaking in fact of the Hudson River and Lower Manhattan. The bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in in a hotel, lovely bathroom products too. Room service was prompt and very tasty! The Standard’s location is superb for exploring the West Village, Greenwich Village, Lower Manhattan and even over to Brooklyn.”
