“The room was small but beautifully presented and very clean, as was the ensuite bathroom. I was, however, above the main entrance and there was a wedding party. The bagpipes were quite loud! Also, it is called the Station Hotel for a reason, the railway line is about 500yds from the hotel and the trains run from about 0600-midnight! However, the food was delicious and the service very good.”

“Very poor service off the breakfast waitress, came down for breakfast at 8.30am had to ask for orange juice as the jug was empty, then had to ask for a bowl as there was none was only offered one round of toast each , everything seemed to much effort for her , obviously never heard of service with a smile . The other members of staff we dealt with during our stay were lovely.”
