“The evening meal menu is varied and reasonably priced for such good quality and the breakfast is delicious with locally sourced produce, kippers as a choice and delicious home made fruit salad as an option. The beds are wonderfully comfortable too and the one in room 3 is huge!”
“I liked the whole place just plain down to earth people who treat their guests well .They allow dogs which is why we chose in the first place but did not expect such quality for the price.The breakfast was gorgeous and the evening menu great value and tasty.They made sure I got food late on a sunday even though the kitchen was shut nothing was to much for them.Also the best sleep for ages.”
“Although the weather was extremely cold outside, the Inn was warm and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, and the family rooms were particularly spacious. The bar with its log fire was a delight. We had a family party and we were given a secluded table and allowed to decorate with banners and balloons. The meal was delicious and well presented. The breakfast was fantastic!”

“The sycamore was very welcoming and really went all out to make sure our dog reggie was happy! The food at the pub was excellent and the breakfast in the morning was great. The location is perfect for the surrounding area as is it close to the Sett trail and the Millenium walkway. The rooms were dog friendly and in the pub water bowls and dog treats were always near by! The staff at the pub were all lovely and friendly too. Thank you!”

I really appreciate this kindness from the manager since it saved me hours and gave me a good power to start my cruise on the next day through the hills.”
