“On check in we were given the wrong room. The room we booked had a balcony and mountain view. Only on querying were we given the correct room. Staff was not very helpful and looked like they did not know what to do. Only later in the afternoon we were approached by a gentleman by the name of Arnold Pekeur who we assumed just came on duty. He inquired if everything was OK, whether reception informed us about the use of the hot springs and whether he can book a restaurant for us for the evening. EXCELLENT SERVICE. GIVE THAT MAN A BELL'S”

“The town of Montagu is great, hotel was comfy and staff are very friendly. Access to Avalon Springs pools and hot springs was the highlight of the weekend! The Italian restaurant in town, Piccolo Tesoro, made us what is probably the best pizza I have ever eaten this side of sicily! Also, you simply cannot go to Montagu without trying Jules & Co's waffles... seriously they are insane! All in all we had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back.”
