“Nice oldie world style English hotel. No airs and graces just a good little hotel. Centrally located, quiet and comfortable room. Coffee and tea provided. Furniture getting to be old now. Bed and pillows on the hard side. Good hearty Full English breakfast in the price with cereals etc. available. Evening meals served and they have a bar. Would stay again”
“Good parking right in front of the hotel. Lovely breakfast, hot, and plenty of it. Warm, clean and comfortable. Bed comfortable and nice linen. We only saw one member of staff on duty, and she was polite and helpful doubling up as check in receptionist and breakfast waitress. Value for money for a one night stopover.”

“The Waverley Hotel is a lovely little family run hotel. We arrived late at night but were treated to a complimentary upgrade to one of the apartments. It was basically a 2 bed house which was great! Comfortable accommodation with a good bathroom. The breakfast was also excellent. You can opt for a cooked breakfast or bacon sandwich etc., plus you can have cereal, pastries, yoghurt and fruit on top! We also opted to eat dinner at the hotel, again, the food was excellent and fantastic value. The staff are also really friendly and happy to help. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others.”
