“The rustic nature of the property. Very friendly staff. They could book tours for you easily and found great prices.”

, Canada

“Our stay was great! My wife and I don't speak Spanish very well, and Francisco and Alex were very helpful setting up activities, trips to restaurants, etc. You can rent bikes in the town down the street -- you can easily bike to lots of wineries and a few restaurants. They can help you with that at the front desk. One tip - make sure you bring cash -- there's only one ATM nearby and it runs out of cash quickly.”

, USA

“The location is right in the wine district - walking and biking to wineries was easy. (Staying in town from speaking to other tourists really didn't have benefits). Fancisco was extremely helpful and offered a very special personal touch to the experience!”

“Francisco, the owner, is the best part of this wine lodge. He's over and beyond accommodating for several reasons. First, finding the wine lodge on your own might be difficult for some, so he had a taxi he trusts pick us up from Mendoza. He later helped us arrange a bike rental and got us into a not well known bodega, which was one of our favourite wine tastings in Maipu. His English is excellent. His toddler son and pets (cat and dog) were all wonderful company and a favourite part of our vacation in Argentina. Much love from Canada”

“Beautiful rooms, but very small. Very childfriendly. We had troubles with our paypal, but the owner was relaxed and we only paid after three weeks when we returned home. Was no problem! The owner was very friendly and helpful in general.”

, Germany

“Terrific personal service by the manager, Francisco. This is a small lodge with only a few rooms in a rural part of Maipu. Francisco gave us terrific guidance on which wineries and olive orchards to visit, had bicycles delivered to the lodge we could tour on our own, helped us hire a car for the day to visit Luhan de Cuyo, made lunch reservations for us at two specatular locations that were lesser known and off the beaten path - which also meant away from the crowds, and arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. It was like staying with family...assuming you love your family! We liked the fact that this was a much more intimate experience away from the crowds and enjoyed sitting at a table in the evening and finishing of a bottle of wine from one of the many terrific wineries in the near vacinity.”

, USA

“Francisco was awesome! He made the visit and was like the local mayor, he knew the best places to go and hooked us up with a great day of wine tasting. If you're looking for something off the beaten path, this is the place to stay!”

, USA

“This is a beautiful and relaxing hideaway - the staff are extremely accommodating and helped us to book up all of our excursions for the few days including a sunset horse ride in the mountains and visits to the local wineries. The accommodation is comfortable and well thought out and the rooms are surrounded by beautiful lavender bushes - perfect for sitting out in the evening to read + relax.”

, United Kingdom

“Francisco (owner) was so friendly, really helpful, ensuring we were looked after, organising taxis and take always. Rooms were basic and rustic, but clean. Several wineries nearby.... Bikes needed!”

, United Kingdom

“Owner is not in premises but he was friendly. There was an adorable, very friendly mature yellow lab in the premises.”
