“The recently refurbished rooms in this local Pub built in 1861 had the most comfortable beds we experienced on our travels from Brisbane so far!! We were welcomed by Sharon and her staff and later dropped back into the bar for a cider and a beer - and caught up on the local news! Dinner was available in the Dining Room - however, we chose to wander the town and buy supplies from the local IGA supermarket across the road and sit on the little blue chairs on the verandah and watch the storms chase across the evening sky - it was wonderful!! Good parking onsite right outside our door - fun shops to poke our noses into and an early opening newsagent to get the paper in the morning - great spot!! Great value!!”
