“Lovely setting, fantastic gardens and outdoor seating, outdoor swimming pool and alongside river and waterfall. House is very charming and very well fitted out in a style suited to the age of the residence. Nice drawing room and comfortable bedrooms. We were doing the Portuguese Camino and the accommodation can be reached by taxi (5 euro) which are readily available at a taxi rank in town centre. We were also able to get a taxi the following morning to bring us back to the town centre.”

The welcome from Lily was the best welcome we received in all of our hotels . The room was so beautiful with stunning views. Dinner was an experience in itself - we will return!”
