“Hotel is in the most beautiful surroundings. Very comfortable facilities though a bit tired I think. It is obviously quite an old hotel but very nice all the same. Staff were very amenable, once we had any sort of problem they dealt with it immediately. Though the room cleaning service wasn't great. The first time I used the bath I could feel the scum around the top edge of the inside of the bath and it was obvious the floor hadn't been washed. It wasn't washed for the rest of our 3 night stay either. there were cup ring marks on the nest of tables and dried spilt tea/coffee marks were there. I cleaned them off myself. Crumbs on the carpet that were there on the first day were still there when we left.”
