“I can see where the hotel gets its name from, it was very Grand indeed! High ceilings, wide spiral stair cases and fabulous views of the beach. Stayed overnight with friends in room for 3 people, spacious with good amenities, tea/coffee/hot chocolate with biscuits and bottled water as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Great value for money.”

Well appointed room, good lighting, storeage and beds. Great curtains and bathroom. Lovely drawing room where you can have afternoon tea.....must try next time. Amazing cliff top location beaches and historic sights near by. Short drive newcaste.”
