“We enjoyed a couple of days at UTMT and would definitely come again. The rooms are wonderfull furnished and in a top condition. The Resort has a beautifull environment, with a nice pool, a relaxing yoga ashram and a fantastic restaurant with a stunning view over the ocean. In Particular, we were stunned by the lovely people. Priyantha the F&B manager and Nishantha the senior barman did a great job and we soon became friends. We definitely keep this friendly people and wonderful place in very good memory.”

“It was love-at-first-sight. Very nice Hotel Manager - she was a great hostess. We felt like super valued customers. Absolutely impressive. Hotel had so many facilities and freebies offered to guests that despite not being interested to travel to Sri-Lanka itself, we nevertheless would love to come back to this property in the future. We also need to point out how good the General Manager was. He quickly and professionally handled the misunderstanding at Spa where the Spa Manager unfortunately showed an unpleasant lack of professionalism or tact (despite being a European person). All other Staff were adorable, always willing to help and to make our stay remarkable. The freebies included tea tasting, tennis court (inc of free rackets and balls), yoga, cinema and much more. They also provide full Ayurvedic package (at extra charges)”

Was the end of a long 3 week vacation and we decided to splurge on our last days to unwind as we were traveling none stop the entire 3 weeks. The restaurant served excellent food, the amenities were top notch and the resort itself is of the highest quality. Very happy we decided to come to UTMT.”

“Everything - best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. So many nice touches - tea & cakes in the afternoon, a popcorn machine and real cinema, pool table, great quality tennis court, daily fresh fruit, private beach with games provided, really nice swimming pool and hammocks and loungers dotted around the place.... just amazing! Staff were brilliant, food was exceptional and reasonably priced given the setting. We stayed just before it got busy (late Nov/early Dec) and felt like we had the place to ourselves! The room was wonderful. Surfed every morning at a gorgeous beach with a peeling gentle lefthand reef only 10 minutes away by Tuk Tuk... great memories!”
