“the view of the beach and the friendliness of staff at the bar.”
“Good features:- spacious room, very comfy bed, good food, separate bath and walk in shower, helpful staff, good value for money. Not so good features:- no lift, no shaver point, no chairs on balcony (although these were provided when we asked). Concern re "conditions for guests" - quote:- "Guests and visitors use the Hotel and its facilities at their own risk and neither the Hotel nor its employees, representatives of officers will be liable for any loss, damageor death to person or property, however it is caused, even if it is caused by negligence of any degree by the Hotel, its employees representatives of officers". It seems they can poison us with the food, drown us in the bath or stab us to death at any time!!!”

“Excellent bedding the hinges of your doors and wardrobes are squeaking please apply oil to these at regular intervals.otherwise everything is good.you need to advertise more regularly.A lot of people only think of Kapenta Bay Hotel if they are looking for accommodation in Port Shepstone.”
“Breakfast was very good, both hot and cold meals. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and allowed you your privacy. We unfortunately had very poor weather over our stay so did not enjoy the pleasures of the beach. In these conditions one is reliant on the activities which are offered by the hotel. The bar and lounge facilities were adequate. Other types of entertainment would have been welcomed.”
