“Firstly the staff were amazing from Faisal on reception giving us free soft drinks to Ramazan(Rambo) our breakfast server who made us feel very welcome and arranged for more simit for me when none was left over. Great location, very soft comfortable bed linen and an awesome array of food choices at breakfast with a view over the Sea of Marmara to die for. Fabulous! Would definitely stay here again.”

“The staff at Valide Sultan Konagi are extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast with Mr Ramazan was a delight as was the Turkish breakfast. Mahmoud and Faisal at the front office will tell you everything you need to know about the city.The hotel terrace has lovely views of the coast, the gate of the Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia as shown in the photos. This is a plus especially for 1st-time visitors to Istanbul. It is in the heart of the Sultanahmet historic area and lots of sites are within walking distance as is access to the tram lines.”
