“We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bedroom. I understand other reviewers who maybe were expecting something in better surroundings but we have a luncheon at the hotel for 80+ each year and the quality and service are good. It is not a hotel to "holiday" in but it is near Elvas which is a UNESCO city and well worth visiting. The restaurant is very good didn't realise it was closed on Mondays as are many in Portugal!”
