When we told the girl at front desk that we were in town for the marathon she sent race specific snacks with personal note of encouragement to our room. We had dinner in restaurant, we liked the menu choices and the food was very good and affordable.”

“Power went out seems like a car accident took power out. The staff would not committ to time frame finally the boss told us about 8:30 which gave us what we needed. Went out and had fun and dinner and when we returned power was on. Saturdy we spent out but when we returned our air condintioner was not running. This was the hottest Ventura has been in over 20 years. By midninght our room was 80. The terrible staff could do nothing. My wife went downstairs to the lobby to try to rest. About 1AM I was awoken by the staff they threatened to remove her by force?Maybe call the police. There was a loud party by the pool going on when I got downsstairs. It moved into the lobby. It was a diaster. I complained. The hotel tried to put a $700 bill through then $650 and then $545. I am so sick I would never stay i another MArriott. My phone calls were not returned. NEVER AGAIN! I WILL Recoomend this hotel as a diasaster hotel. Shame on them.”
