“This hotel is oozing character. It is very different - in an old villa surrounded by vineyards. The rooms, staircases and corridors are full of pictures and artefacts. The courtyards of the villa are very picturesque. There is a restaurant on site where you can get your evening meal - the food was delicious and the décor of the dining room was lovely - it was very cosy. Each room is different in terms of its décor - very unusual and quirky which made it a very interesting place to stay. The room and bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here - but if you like modern and minimalist it is not the hotel for you.”

You need to like and appreciate old architecture and the compromises it brings. The drive up to the property is exciting and narrow - especially exciting in the dark. Waking up to the view of the vineyards on the hill is great.”
