“The bed was comfy and had lovely cotton sheets and the room was very clean. I loved the decor - stylish but with character. We had a flight booked in the middle of the night so it was not worth us paying for another night, but the hotel let us leave our baggage, gave us a spare key so we could wait in the lounge and could not have been more helpful. They also gave us an early check-in, so value for money it was excellent. They are also a not for profit business and proceeds go to supporting women and girls in Armenia - this would have been an instrumental issue in my decision of where to stay so I think needs to be flagged up more.”
“Beautiful old Yerevan house with delicious breakfast and really nice hosts. Great location!”
“The accommodations, while simple, were very comfortable. Service was excellent... room always clean, people always friendly, breakfast always plentiful. Driver picked me up at the airport in the middle of the night. He also took me on two day trips, which while much more expensive than local tours, gave me great flexibility to go when and where I wanted. He was punctual and his car (Mercedes Benz) reliable.”
“Pleasant english speaking staff Attractive historic building and nicely furnished rooms. Excellent breakfast.”
“The ambiance ! It doesn't give a feel like u r living in a hotel, looks like typical europian home...loved it..n the staff was also good.”
“Villa Delenda is a very pleasant place to stay in Yerevan. It is an old house renovated on the inside. Our room was spacious with very high ceiling. The location is perfect. It is nice that it is a small hotel. The front desk staff are linguists women who can communicate in Italian, English, Spanish, Russian and of course in Armenian. They can arrange someone to do your laundry and arrange taxis to travel through the country. The woman who received us (Amelia) is super nice, and the lady that cooks breakfast (Elsa) is also very kind. We will be back.”
“The villa is perfectly located between the opera House and the Republic Square. Fantastic ambience. Liked the idea of having one communal table for breakfast. It got everyone talking to each other. Fantastic breakfast spread with all sorts of breads, fruit, hams, cheeses and cakes. ( in photo ) Lovely staff who run the villa jointly with a pottery shop downstairs.”
“Friendly staff, lovely breakfast super neighbourhood”
“Everything was just about perfect. A taxi low cost taxi transport was arranged from the airport in the middle of the night, and someone was waiting at the hotel with the key to the room. Room large with view of park in front. Location in a low historic building right in the center of town! Many languages (including English) spoken. Service impeccable..”
“A very nice hotel in a historic building. The staff was super-friendly and very helpful when we needed to arrange things or get information. The breakfast was great.”
