“Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room in a historic building. The gallery on the first floor up from ground is also worth going through if your room is on the second floor. Great location at the edge of the historic city centre, just outside the ring wall (the entrance is through a gap in the wall), and just a couple of minutes on foot from the central bus station.”

“The small city of Pasewalk located near the border to Poland has not yet recovered from the Soviet occupation, and outside the hotel compound there is little to see. However, this hotel with a fine restaurant and beer cellar is a real gem in this part of Germany. It was built in the 1890's for the commander of the famous cavalry regiment that used to be stationed there with photographs, weapons, uniforms, and other memorabilia of Pasewalk's Prussian past. Dignitaries used to stay there when visiting the regiment. We spent the night there on the way to Heringsdorf. The breakfast was excellent and I highly recommend it.”
