“I have stayed at villa velmarie before and this was the first time I stAyed after the renovations were done and the ayurveda resort added. Me and my partner had a relax and rejuvenate package which included yoga ,mediation Ayurveda therapies and they even did a cooking demonstration for . The ayurveda team is very experienced and the doctor is working as the Secretary of the ayurveda association of Sri Lanka.they have other packages including relax and rejuvenate,detox ,destress,weight loss ,motivation and more. I wish the team good luck and will tell all my Friends back home about this great package.”

“Location, location, location - The seafood was great. It was so fresh as the local team fishes for it and it was cooked to perfection. The property is private and the empty beach were part of a great experience. The pool was well maintained and was surrounded by a beautiful garden. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. My room opened up to a pool/garden view and it was amazing. I spent the evening reading my book, and watching the sky darken. I have to mention the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. They were ever willing to make sure I was provided of in the best way. It was overall an excellent stay and I would recommend it to solo travelers or families.”

“A fantastic experience and a family friendly resort. Different from five start hotels ( private )Only six rooms and very clean rooms. The garden is paradise and the food is also very good. 24 hour service and great cable tv. Honestly could not ask for more. Highly recommended if you are looking for a private villa with and secluded experiences the beaches nearby are beautiful :)”

“Booked the 3 day yoga package with included massage. The place is pretty small. Round about 6 rooms in total. As we were there in the low season we had the whole area for us. The crew is competent, helpful and not annoying at all. Highly recommended for a few days of healthy relaxing.”

“Beautiful quiet location with friendly attentive staff. Lovely ambience and delightful renovation of dutch Colonial bungalow. Enjoyed morning swim by stepping a few metres from my patio door. Very close to the orphanage and Elders Home of St Vincent's, Maggona which we were visiting.”
